THANK YOU for coming to our first PTA meeting for the new 2017-18 school year and for supporting our first London Towne PTA Spirit Night at Foster's Grille!
We had a great turn out. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces, as well as the new ones.
I want to send a special thank you to the volunteers who made themselves available this weekend to form our Audit Committee (Liz Neuenschwander, Jessie Lynch, and Mary Ellen Moss). They were instrumental in ensuring that we could vote on a budget this year.
I also have a special shout out and thank you to Cayce Utley for leading the Finance Committee and helping us establish a the new and aggressive budget for the year.
If you missed the meeting, you did not hear what we have planned for the year and how Ms. Padmore and the Mr. Cook and Ms. Moore are leading the way to success for our young learners this year. Meeting minutes will be available for review on our website in a few days.
We have several activities planned this year but many events need people to help organize and plan the event. As you look at the calendar and see "pending chair", that means if a chair person is not identified 6 weeks before the event, the event will be cancelled. So if you really want an event to happen, we need YOU to help US make it happen. (Many hands make light work)
